Ngwobia is an Nkporo/Abiriba language. Nkporo and Abiriba are ancient clans located in Ohafia LGA of Abia.
Ngwobia is a shortened version of “Ngwobia ya osu in Nkporo/Abiriba dialect, meaning “everywhere they go, something happens or their presence is often felt”
“Ọ Banyisa osu” in Ohafia dialect and “Ọ Bata osu” in Igbo language are synonymous with “Ngwobia ya osu.”
